FAQ
Because Ruby Bingo uses Flash ® technology, the game screen can be maximised or re-sized just like any other program window using the standard Windows or Apple Mac controls To view your game history simply click on the ‘History’ button, this will allow you to view your history even whilst playing another game. It is very easy to deposit money in the middle of a game. Click on the ‘Cashier’ button and from there it is possible to deposit funds into your account whilst playing a game. The multi-screen function allows you to easily deposit money without missing out on any of the excitement of a game. We have created a feature called ‘Disconnection Protection’ to ensure that you will remain in a game even if you lose your internet connection or your computer re-starts. When you get back to the software to re-join the game you will find that your tickets will stay the same until the current game you are in is finished. The Disconnection Protection also ensures that you will not lose any tickets purchased for the game or any bets you have placed. The ticket manager will automatically keep playing your tickets throughout any kind of disconnection, whether the problem is at your end or ours. Log in to Ruby Bingo and in the lobby choose the room you want to play in. Tickets for the next game will appear on the screen. Click on the tickets you want to buy and they will show as ‘Selected’. Then simply click on ‘Buy Tickets’ at the bottom of the screen. In the 90 ball game you can select a whole strip of tickets by clicking above the strip. If there is a game in progress, you will either be taken to the ticket purchasing for the next game, or you can select the number of tickets you wish to buy for the next game by clicking on the ‘+’ sign in the Ticket Selector below the tickets. Hovering over the ‘Buy tickets for the next game’ link will open a panel showing all the game details. If you want to choose tickets for the next game manually, then click on ‘Select Manually’. For more ticket purchasing options, go to Pre-Buy on the top menu and choose either ‘Future Games’ or ‘Special Games’. This will take you to the ticket purchasing screens where you can buy tickets for any future game or for one of our daily, weekly or monthly specials. For every game there is full information on that game plus any promotions that apply. If you want your computer to auto-buy into forthcoming games, click on the ‘Options’ in the menu at the top and select ‘Auto-Buy’. In this screen, make sure the function is ‘On’ and then you can enter the number of games you want to buy into, the number of tickets per game you want to buy and set limits on the ticket price you are prepared to pay. If you have bingo the software will call it automatically meaning you don’t have to worry. Just go to the lobby to see the number of players in each of the rooms. The number of players who have purchased tickets for the current game are shown in the game information area above the number board. To check on forthcoming games, go to the ticket purchasing screen by clicking on ‘Future Games’ or ‘Special Games’ in the Schedule menu. You can play the mini-slots and mini-scratch tickets right in the game screen itself, just below the chat window. Alternatively, you can choose one of a range of slots and casino games by scrolling up or down the list in the bottom right corner of the screen. Your chosen game will open in a new window but your bingo game will continue to play in its original window. A schedule of forthcoming games can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Extras’ button and choosing ‘Schedule’. This will open a new browser window with a list of games including any special games, pattern games and upcoming events. The schedule is also accessible from our website, click here to go to the Schedule. Our Customer Services Team is ready to help you any time of day or night every day of the year, through chat, e-mail or on the telephone. Simply go to the 'Support' page of our website for all our contact details. In the ‘Options’ tab of our software you can change the audio settings. You have the option to choose between a male and female caller (the person who announces the bingo number). Ensure that they are enabled by making sure that the box is checked. Also, check that your computer’s audio settings and your speakers are functioning correctly. Please check that you have followed our download directions correctly, you can read them on our website in the ‘Download’ page. This is the first option in the menu at the top of the page. If this does not work then please contact us, go to the ‘Support’ page on our website for details. The maximum number of tickets you can play varies from game to game. The limits are shown in the game information on the left hand side of the game screen. Ticket prices will vary from 1p to £1 - varying by room and time of day. You can check the price of tickets in forthcoming games by clicking on the ‘Future Games’ link. At Ruby Bingo all bingo prizes and jackpots are paid out in 100% cash. We do not pay out bonus money or part bonus money or part cash. The size of the prize will depend on how many tickets have been purchased in any given game. Pots are divided between supplying one or more progressive jackpots and money to be paid out in winnings during the game. Therefore, the more people playing online, the larger the jackpot. Aside from progressive jackpots, we also offer set jackpots during special events and games. Some of our special events/games will also give you the chance to win great prizes as well as or instead of cash. Items such as entertainment equipment and holiday packages are up for grabs. This will vary depending on how many people are online at any particular time. Ruby Bingo is a global website so the chances are you will always find a large group of people playing twenty-four hours a day. The number of players in a game is always displayed in the bingo room. The number of players online normally increases during special games with set jackpots and prizes. Of course you can, chatting with other players is a large part of the enjoyment of online bingo. Unlike other online games which do not offer this feature, we feel that part of what makes bingo so special is the interaction with other players. Within the main chat room you can chat, in English, with players across the globe and once you’ve made friends there is also a private chat feature. You can also play our great chat games within the chat room, win some prizes and make new friends all whilst you are playing bingo! As you begin to get close to having bingo your tickets change colour. When you reach Bingo your ticket will turn purple and you will be informed that you have reached Bingo! Whilst most of our old time bingo room players still tend to shout out ‘BINGO’ there is no need to in the online version. Just leave it in the hands of our technology and all will be taken care of. If you are in the room, the software will automatically tell you that you have won. But regardless of where you are – even if you have turned off your computer – we will still calculate your win and put the money into your balance. This will be because you have tied with another player. Because of the way bingo works a tie is very rare, however, on occasion more than one player will win at once. The prize can be split between multiple people and therefore will be split between all the winners. Well done! There are a few different options open to you now. You can immediately take out all your funds (however, we suggest that you leave a small amount in your account in order to carry on playing as it can take a few days for the money to reach you). Do not forget that when you make a withdrawal any bonus money that you have not yet used will be lost, see our Bonus Terms and Conditions for more information. All withdrawals and deposits are done through the Cashier. Click on the Cashier button within the software and then click on the Withdrawal page. You will find a list of all the different withdrawal methods available to you. It is a good idea to read through them all first before deciding which is the best one for you to use. See our Cashing Out page for further details. Ruby Bingo is an international company and as such offers access to players across the globe. However, every country has its own gambling rules and we recommend that you check with your local authorities to find out the law where you live before playing online. It is your responsibility to do this research and ensure that you are abiding by the gambling laws of the country in which you reside. The first step is to try and chat with one of the Chat Moderators inside the chat room. Should there be a large number of people within the chat room and it is not possible for the CM to speak to you, then our online Customer Services Team is available to help. 'Please click here for' details on how to contact them. Privacy and security is extremely important to us, and as a result if a player loses their password we ask that they do the following in order to verify their accounts: This means that you have used your cash balance and all your Playable Bonus Funds. The funds remaining in your Bonus Balance have not yet been redeemed. If you hover the mouse cursor over the Bonus Balance display in the game, a pop-up will tell you how much of your bonus balance is playable and how much is waiting to be redeemed by the purchase of tickets. In order to redeem more funds into your Playable Bonus Balance, you will have to make a deposit so that you can purchase more tickets. Every £1 you spend on bingo tickets releases £0.50p from your Non-Playable Bonus into your Playable Bonus. The side games accessed under the chat function on the far right can only be played for cash. Only the mini-games slots and scratch tickets, under the chat function on the left hand side can be played for bonus money.
