90 Ball
90 Ball Bingo is the most popular version of bingo in the UK. Players purchase numbered bingo tickets and then mark off the numbers that are called out at random. Each game is played in three stages. The winner of the first stage is the first player to complete one line of five numbers, followed by the second stage winner with two lines. The full house winner is the first to complete all three lines. 90 Ball Bingo is played on a 3x9 grid of numbers called a ticket. Each row of nine squares contains five numbers and four blanks. 90 Ball Bingo is played on strips that consist of six tickets. One strip will contain all the numbers, 1-90. Players who purchase a strip (6 tickets) will therefore cross off or 'daub' a number at each bingo call. At Ruby Bingo, the daubing is done automatically so you never need to worry about missing a claim. Once you have purchased your tickets, they will be played even if you turn off your computer. A Sort Tickets option will automatically bring the strip containing your ticket that is closest to winning to the top. Every game of bingo has a minimum ticket requirement - this is at least one ticket and maybe more. A message will tell you if you have not purchased enough tickets to join a game. You can select the tickets or strips you want to buy by clicking on them. Click again to deselect them. To select individual tickets or strips, just click on the individual tickets that take your fancy or on the 'Select Entire Strip' tab above the strip that you want. If a certain ticket or strip doesn't look lucky enough to you, click again to deselect it and use the scrolling arrows to move to a new pair of strips. You can also select tickets by clicking on the '+' or '-' signs on the Ticket Counter until you reach the number of tickets you wish to buy and then pressing the 'Buy Tickets' button. If there is a game in progress, ticket sales for that game will be closed. To buy tickets for the next game, either click on the Ticket Counter at the bottom of the screen to select the number you want to buy, or click on the Select Manually link which will open a new window showing you strips for the next game so that you can select and buy tickets normally. To buy tickets for future games, click on Pre-Buy on the top menu and choose either Future Games or Special Games. This will bring up a list of forthcoming games - just click on the Buy button to see the strips for the game and select and buy them in the usual way. The Special Games list includes all the special promotional games taking place over the next few weeks. Use this feature to make sure you don't miss out on our specials or guaranteed jackpots games. Remember that once you have confirmed the purchase of your tickets, the transaction is completed and cannot be reversed. If you'd prefer to take it easy and let the computer choose your tickets for you, you can use the Auto-Buy feature. Go to Options on the top menu and choose Auto-Buy, then press the On button. Auto-Buy will automatically buy a selected number of tickets just before each game starts. It will continue for as many games as you have chosen in the settings screen and allows you to set a limit on the ticket price you want to pay. Auto-Buy will be switched off if you change rooms or exit the game. There are three consecutive winning patterns in 90 ball Bingo with three corresponding prizes. Sometimes it's possible to win three prizes in a single game by being the first to mark off one line, then two lines and then a full house! As a bingo game progresses, the strips containing your tickets which are closest to a win will be moved to front of your screen. As you get close to a win, the borders of your tickets will change colour: Green = 3 balls away Gold = 2 balls away Red = 1 ball away Purple = BINGO! This is a great visual aid so you can see at a glance how close you are to winning bingo. In general, the more a ticket costs and the more people participate in a particular game, the bigger the prizes for that game. Sometimes we guarantee a minimum prize no matter how few the players or inexpensive the tickets. Jackpots are paid to the player (or shared between players) who win the full house within a certain number of called balls. This "balls to jackpot" figure is shown next to the jackpot total at the top of the screen. It shows the remaining number of balls to be called within which the jackpot can be won. If this number is exceeded without a full house win, the jackpot is held over for the next game. Most jackpots are progressive and will increase by taking a small percentage of the prize fund from each game. When a jackpot is won, it is re-started with a seed of at least £200. All prize and jackpot information is displayed within the game console. To personalise the bingo game room to suit your preferences, choose 'Options' on the top menu and select 'Settings'. With the Bingo tab selected, you can choose the colour and shape of your dauber and also turn on the 'Sort Tickets' feature, which will ensure that your ticket or strip which is closest to bingo will always be at the top. You can also turn off animations here and opt for faster graphics - either of which may help if you are using an older computer, or if you feel that your game is running too slowly. Select the Audio tab to adjust the sound volume, to choose a male or female caller or to turn sounds on or off. If you have installed the download version of Ruby Bingo, you will have a third tab called Security. This allows you to enable or disable the Auto-Login feature and also to remember your password. Selecting 'Remember Password' will automatically enter your password in the log-in screen each time you start the game but it will not log you in. If you choose 'Auto-Login,' both options will be enabled and the next time you start the game, you will bypass the log-in process. Please note that you should only enable the Auto-Login feature if you are entirely certain that no unauthorised or under-age persons have access to your computer or to the game program. A new game starts every five minutes (less if speed bingo is playing), so you never have to wait more than a few minutes to buy into a game. As soon as a game ends, all the relevant information for the next game is displayed in the game information panel on the left of your screen. You'll be able to see the number of players who have bought tickets for the game, the different prizes for each winning pattern (any one line, any two lines, full house), and additional jackpots. As the game progresses, the prize winners are indicated, and the display changes to show the next winning pattern. During the game, every number called is shown in the bingo ball on the left. You can also see the colour of forthcoming balls and, underneath, a strip showing the last five numbers called, just in case you missed one. Below this is the familiar called-number board which shows all the balls called so far in the game on a board arranged in five columns, each of 18 numbers. You will notice that the numbers in each column have a unique colour. This colour is used in some chat games and also gives a hint of the forthcoming numbers in a game. As soon as a player (hopefully you) completes a winning line, the game will pause for a few seconds as you are shown a message detailing who won and how much. The winning names are also displayed adjacent to the pattern on the left of the screen. Lucky jackpot winners are notified by a pop-up message to all players. If you are among the lucky winners, your winnings will automatically be credited to your account.Tickets

Each game also has a limit on the maximum number of tickets you can buy. This is shown in the game information. In order to buy a ticket, you need to make sure you have enough money in your bingo account. Your account balance is shown at the top right hand corner of your screen. To make a deposit, click on 'Cashier'.
All game information including ticket costs, prize and jackpot values as well as any special offers are shown in the game information panel on the left before a game starts. Once a game has started, details on the next game can be seen by moving the mouse cursor over the Next Game link at the bottom of the screen.Selecting tickets
